A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at 2:30 p.m. EST. at Greater Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 3000 12th Ave. Columbus, Georgia, with the Reverend Dr. Marcus J. Gibson officiating.
CJ was born on February 8, 1978 to the parentage of Mr. Connie Ray Joyner and the late Mrs. Alice M. Joyner Thompson. He was a graduate of Spencer High School in Columbus, Georgia. CJ was the owner and operator of Your Creative Works, LLC and Monsta Fam Music Group, LLC.
Left to cherish his memories are his beloved soulmate Victoria; loving children Camron, Courtney, Jayden, Davon, and Christian; caring father Connie Ray Joyner; devoted brother Craig Joyner (Rasheda); adoring nieces Kira and Kyra Joyner; supportive sister in Christ LaTonia Whitehurst; and dear god-daughter Deja Whitehurst.
CJ had an abundance of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family. He will also be remembered dearly, by many members of his business family, childhood friends and loved ones from Indianhead Terrace, Spencer High School, and the Tri-City area.
